Our Story

Pale Blue Sky Gallery is an online fine art gallery curated for aesthetic and minimalist home decor. We specialize in oil painted local Texas landscapes in an impressionistic style. The artist calls his style "tight impressionism" which is a term he coined meaning it is a realistic type of impressionism. We believe the right art piece makes your home feel balanced and complete. We want to help make your home beautiful with our unique artwork. 

Our Products

Each original art piece was hand painted by Mark Persyn. We create our quality made to order prints using the finest giclée method on canvas. Each print is hand stretched on handmade wood stretcher bars, then framed in our hand crafted solid wood frames.

About the Owner

Kayla Kephart is the owner and gallery curator, and the daughter of the artist, Mark Persyn. She grew up with a love for making and admiring art. As a child she would wake in the mornings and go downstairs to her dad's office where her father would be painting or illustrating. She remembers fondly sitting quietly creating her own "artwork" alongside him as he worked.

As an adult renovating her home, she noticed that each time she would find a piece of art she loved from large chain stores, she would see the same piece in the homes of her friends and family. She started searching for local Texas artwork, only to find them costing thousands of dollars. She wanted unique and local artwork that was reasonably priced. She partnered with her dad to create and curate a collection specifically for people looking for beautiful, original artwork to complete and beautify their homes.
